The rows that shift least are the ones a person has to do either way — a statement, photographs, the other party's insurer. The rows that collapse from days to seconds are the ones a machine was always going to be better at, and they are also the ones that stop existing if you leave them a week.
A file nobody can vouch for is not evidence
The first thing a competent third party does is ask whether the footage could have been edited and whether the clock is trustworthy. Both questions have to have been answered before they are asked.
